Jai Jai Ram Crosses 30 Million Views in 24 Hours — YouTube Reaction Videos Explode

30 Million Views and Counting

"Jai Jai Ram" — the first song from Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayan — has crossed 30 million views on YouTube within its first 24 hours of release. For a devotional song with no item number, no hookstep, and no pop-culture gimmick, this number is extraordinary.

To put it in context: Adipurush's "Jai Shri Ram" reached 32 million views in 24 hours in 2023. "Jai Jai Ram" is tracking very close to that benchmark — and unlike Adipurush, the reception here is overwhelmingly positive.

The Music Video Visuals

The music video is not just a song — it is essentially a mini-film. Key moments that fans are going crazy over include:

• Ram-Sita Wedding (Swayamvar): A grand depiction of the marriage ceremony in Mithila, with Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi performing the sacred rituals
• Ayodhya Visuals: The golden city of Ayodhya, reconstructed by DNEG's VFX team, looks breathtaking in the video
• Forest Exile Moments: Intimate scenes of Ram and Sita walking through the Dandaka forest — the same aesthetic as the Siya Ram poster
• Hanuman's First Appearance: A brief but powerful glimpse of Sunny Deol as Hanuman bowing before Ram

YouTube Reaction Videos Flooding the Internet

Within hours of the song's release, YouTube was flooded with reaction videos — from Indian creators, international reactors, and devotional music channels. The common thread across reactions:

• "Goosebumps" — the most repeated word in every reaction
• Emotional breakdowns — multiple reactors were visibly moved to tears by the devotional intensity
• Arijit + Shreya praise — the vocal combination is being called "the best duo in Indian music"
• AR Rahman's composition — fans are saying "this is Rahman at his spiritual best, like Khwaja Mere Khwaja"

What This Means for the Film

When a devotional song generates 30 million views in a day, it signals something bigger than marketing — it signals genuine cultural anticipation. The trailer had already crossed 1 billion views. Now the first song is performing at record levels. Every content piece from Ramayan is generating extraordinary engagement.

For the box office, this kind of pre-release music performance historically correlates with massive opening weekends. Baahubali 2's songs crossed 100 million views before release and the film opened to ₹121 crore. Ramayan is tracking ahead of that curve on every metric.

Fan Verdict: "Greatest Devotional Song in Indian Cinema"

Social media consensus — across X (Twitter), Instagram, YouTube comments, and Reddit — is remarkably unified. Fans are calling "Jai Jai Ram" the greatest devotional song ever composed for an Indian film. The comparison being drawn most often is to Khwaja Mere Khwaja (Jodhaa Akbar, 2008) — also composed by AR Rahman. If "Jai Jai Ram" is Rahman's spiritual successor to that masterpiece, then Ramayan's soundtrack album may be one for the ages.
