Part 1 and Part 2 — Confirmed Schedule

Ramayan is confirmed as a two-part epic. Part 1, releasing November 8, 2026, covers Ram's early life, his exile to the forest, Sita's abduction by Ravana, and the formation of the Vanar Sena.

Part 2 is officially confirmed for Diwali 2027 — approximately one year after Part 1. Part 2 will cover the Lanka campaign, the great war, and Ram's triumphant return to Ayodhya.

The combined two-part production is reportedly budgeted at approximately $500 million (₹4,000 crore+), making it one of the most expensive film projects in world cinema history. Ramayan is also the first Indian film to carry the "Filmed for IMAX" label and the first to release in ScreenX format worldwide.
